"Essam al-Erian, the deputy head of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party in Egypt, has predicted that Israel will cease to exist within a decade, Jewish News One reports. Essam al-Erian, who is also an adviser to Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, made the comments on his Facebook page. He said that since soon there will be no Israel, only Palestine Egyptian Jews should return to their home country and leave the land for the Palestinians.

Jewish News One says that Muslim Brotherhood authorities have become increasingly more vocal on the subject of Israel since their rise to power in Egypt. This has led many to question President Morsi's commitment to Egypt's peace treaty with Israel.

Al-Erian's statement follows a comment made by Egypt's ambassador to Lebanon that Egypt is ready to work with Hezbollah, the Shiite-Islamic group that has been labeled a terrorist organization by the United States and Israel." (źródło: "God Discussion")
